Open-source tool cURL swamped by AI bug reports
Daniel Stenberg said AI-generated bug reports are sharply raising the workload for cURL, the open-source data transfer tool he maintains from his office in Sweden.
cURL received 181 bug or security reports in 2025 and 87 more by April 9 this year, which puts it on track to receive roughly as many as the total from 2020 through 2023.
