OpenAI has dismissed claims about releasing an AI model named Orion this year.

A representative confirmed to TechCrunch that no plans exist for a launch of a model code-named Orion.

The denial follows reports from The Verge, suggesting that Orion would be OpenAI’s next advanced model this December.

The report also mentioned Microsoft anticipating early access to Orion in November due to its partnership with OpenAI.
