OpenAI will remove access to five legacy ChatGPT models, including the GPT-4o, starting February 13. Alongside GPT-4o, OpenAI will also deprecate GPT-5, GPT-4.1, GPT-4.1 mini, and OpenAI o4-mini models.

The company had planned to retire GPT-4o in August after launching GPT-5 but kept it available for paid users due to user feedback.
