Oracle reports second security breach in a month

Oracle has disclosed a security breach involving stolen legacy client login credentials, marking its second cybersecurity incident in a month.
The breach affected an inactive system from eight years ago, exposing usernames, passkeys, and encrypted passwords.
Oracle stated the stolen credentials pose minimal risk and are unrelated to a previous attack on its health-care clients.
The attacker attempted extortion, but Oracle has not provided further details.
