Out on bail for breaching Covid-19 rules, security officer gets drunk during shift, swears at police

SINGAPORE - While he was out on bail for breaching Covid-19 measures, a 30-year-old went on a drunken bender in the middle of his shift as a security officer, which saw him shouting profanities at police officers after being taken to hospital.
On Friday (Aug 14), Kumaran Roy Rajendran was sentenced to one week in jail and a $4,700 fine for his various offences.

SG laws should include mandatory caning for those who assault any civil servant performing their duties if not, the enforcement officers will choose the type of people to arrest
