Dolly Parton fans are on a mission. A petition is calling for Nashville International Airport (BNA) to be renamed in Parton’s honor, and with more than 50,000 signatures and counting, the movement is gaining some serious altitude.

The idea for “Dolly Parton International Airport” took off after a bill proposed naming BNA after President Donald Trump sparked a debate. Fans Lydia Popovich and Dan Dion redirected the conversation on change.org, asking a simple and powerful question: “Why not honor someone who truly embodies Tennessee’s heart?” Their petition makes a heartfelt case, asserting, “She is not only a celebrated artist who encourages love, acceptance, and goodwill through her music, but also a philanthropist, known for her countless contributions to society.”
