SINGAPORE, 1 July 2025: This summer, Paragon on Orchard Road transforms into a vibrant coastal-inspired sanctuary with Hello Summer — a curated, multi-sensory celebration that blends immersive visual art, evocative scents, and genre-defying music. Running from 1 July to 10 August 2025, this experiential campaign is Paragon’s tribute to the spirit of the season and to Singapore’s upcoming SG60 celebrations.

With its seamless integration of local artistry and national pride, Hello Summer offers visitors a joyful and inspiring escape in the heart of the city — while spotlighting the creative talents that make Singapore shine.

Immersive Encounters at Every Corner

More than just a retail experience, Hello Summer invites guests to interact with specially designed spaces that engage all the senses. Jaylyn Ong, Managing Director of Straits Retail Property Management Services, described the initiative as “a curated celebration of the senses featuring first-of-its-kind music experiences” and “a way to create meaningful connections with visitors by inspiring joy and evoking emotion.”

A standout installation is the seaside-themed pop-up by Jo Malone London, titled “Spread Joy with Jo Malone London #justbecause”, which runs until 13 July.

Visitors can sample the brand’s latest limited-edition fragrances — including Raspberry Ripple paired with Orange Marmalade — and enjoy themed treats, personalisation stations, and photogenic backdrops. Two exclusive events enhance the experience: the Scent For You Workshop on 4 and 5 July, and a Caricature Activation on 11 and 12 July, offering lighthearted keepsakes for guests.

Sounds of Summer: Celebrating Homegrown Musical Talent

Music lies at the heart of Hello Summer. In collaboration with Bandwagon, Southeast Asia’s leading independent music media company, Paragon is turning its atrium into a live music venue that platforms emerging and established Singaporean artists.

The campaign’s musical programming launched with a surprise performance by Nathan Hartono, followed by a novel Interactive Human Jukebox showcase. Audiences were invited to select genres and tempos on the spot, influencing a performance by a four-member ensemble — Anson Koh (drums), Eugene Chew (double bass), Joanna Lim (piano and saxophone), and Joel Chua (composition and arrangement).

Paragon also welcomed performances by next-gen talents from AGOPSG (A Group of People), including Mikkel Myer Lee, a nine-year-old piano prodigy, and Heeru, a classically trained vocalist representing the Inclusive Arts Movement, highlighting the campaign’s embrace of both excellence and inclusivity.

“Hello Summer places music at the heart of the season — a celebration of spontaneity, sunshine, and the joy of live performance,” said Clarence Chan, Founder of Bandwagon. “We’re proud to help transform Paragon into a living stage.”

From 2 to 12 July, daily performances continue with a rich musical lineup spanning jazz, classical, pop, and fusion. Featured performers include:

Elizabeth Saw – Singaporean pop pianist and Mando-pop songwriter

NUS A Cappella Group

NTU Jazz & Blues Ensemble

Charlene Su – Bilingual singer-songwriter with 11 million Spotify streams for “I Like Red”

Yvette Atienza – A pioneer of jazz vocal improvisation since the 1990s

One of the most anticipated shows is DJ x Strings: UNEXPECTED pairing. UNFORGETTABLE performance., a genre-bending collaboration between DJ MYRNE and violinist David Loke, where electronic beats meet classical strings in an electrifying showcase at Paragon’s Main Atrium.

SG60-Inspired Soundscape: A Tribute to National Pride

The festive atmosphere continues into August with an SG60 musical tribute from 19 July to 9 August. A curated soundscape featuring patriotic tunes and National Day classics by homegrown artists will fill the mall, evoking nostalgia and unity as Singapore approaches its 60th year of independence.

Retail, Dining & Lifestyle Refreshes

Beyond music and scent, Paragon is rolling out new retail and culinary offerings. Visitors can explore:

Golden Goose – Reopened with a refreshed concept focused on sustainability and craftsmanship

Younique Caffe – First outlet in Singapore

Roberta’s R Slice – NYC-style pizza by the slice, debuting internationally

Patisserie Woo, Starhub, Nest Designs, and A+ Hair Salon – Enhancing the mall’s fashion, tech, and wellness offerings
