PETALING JAYA: World No. 2 women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah finally ended two years of first round exits at the Asian Championships after defeating Hong Kong’s Fan Ka Yan-Yau Mau Ying on Wednesday (April 8).

In the match held at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre, Pearly-Thinaah had little trouble overcoming the world No. 50 pair, winning 21-14, 21-11 in 31 minutes.
