PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s national cycling programme is shifting gears – not just in producing world-class athletes, but in ensuring local coaches are ready to lead the charge.

Former track cyclist Fairoz Izni Ghani, who previously served in Sarawak, has been brought into the national coaching set-up to work with Olympians Amir Mustafa Rusli and Adiq Husainie Othman in the endurance squad.
