Pensioner loses over RM218k in fake Hong Kong jackpot prize scam
SEGAMAT: Lured by a RM2.96 million Hong Kong-based jackpot, a pensioner ended up losing RM218,730 to a fake prize scam.
The 62-year-old victim lodged a police report on Friday, after he failed to receive the promised prize money after he was informed that he won the jackpot in November 2023.
