...what fans didn't expect was the box-office hit foreshadowing the romantic relationships of not one, but two of the stars.

Last month, a fan made this revelation about a particular scene, where Rebel Wilson's character, Fat Amy, tells Anna Camp's character, Aubrey Posen, about the likelihood of someone from their a cappella group being a lesbian.

"That means that one of us is probably a lesbian," Rebel said in the scene. "You think? Which one do you think it is?" replied Anna.

So why did the X (better known as Twitter) user call it a manifestation? Well, if you didn't know, Rebel came out in June 2022 when she hard-launched her relationship with Ramona Agruma on Instagram.

The caption read: "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince...but maybe what I really needed was a Disney Princess." She ended the message with hearts, a rainbow, and the hashtag #loveislove. The two got engaged in 2023 and reportedly wed in 2024.

As for Anna, she confirmed her relationship with celebrity stylist and writer, Jade Whipkey, in March 2025, after sharing a sweet photo of them on her Instagram story. They were all dressed up for the Renaissance Pleasure Faire.

While neither Anna nor Rebel have publicly identified as lesbians, we still can't help but acknowledge the WLW (woman-loving-woman) relationships they seem to be so happy in.
