Petronas co-owned Gladstone LNG to shut one of its production trains for maintenance

SINGAPORE (Nov 24): Australia’s Santos Ltd plans to shut down one of its production trains at its Queensland-based Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project in January, according to a notice on the Australia Energy Market Operator (AEMO) website.
One train will be offline during Jan. 2-7 for scheduled maintenance, the notice stated. The plant’s two production trains have combined nameplate capacity of 7.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) on Curtis Island.
