Vietnamese police have launched an investigation at the VNG Campus headquarters in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, the tech giant confirmed in a statement.

Although the purpose of the investigation is unclear, the company stated that its business operations are continuing as usual and promised to provide further updates.

Founded in 2004, VNG is primarily a gaming company, but it also has offerings for social media with Zalo, financial services through ZaloPay, and cloud services via VNG Cloud.
