KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating an incident in which a Taiwanese man died after falling onto the Light Rail Transit (LRT) tracks at the Pusat Bandar Puchong station yesterday.
Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad said initial investigations revealed that the 63-year-old victim had entered Malaysia on May 31, and the purpose of his visit has yet to be confirmed.
Farid said closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the man walking alone before falling onto the tracks.
"We are still in the process of contacting the victim's family through the embassy," he said in a statement.
