Police summon parents of Tawau teen who placed hazards on road

SEMPORNA: Police have summoned the parents of a 12-year-old child suspected of placing nails, stones, and wooden debris on the road at Kilometer 20 on the Semporna-Tawau Road yesterday.
District police chief Superintendent Mohd Sabri Zainol said the action followed a report by a road user who discovered the hazardous objects around 7.30am.
"Investigations revealed that the sharp objects were thrown by a 12-year-old child living near the incident site, allegedly just for fun.
