Poland-based sports technology startup ReSpo.Vision has secured €4.2 million (US$4.5 million) in its latest funding round to improve its AI-powered football tracking and visualization solutions.

The round was led by Vinci and Smartlink, with contributions from Premier League defender Jan Bednarek and notable angel investors, including Snowflake co-founder Marcin Zukowski and Wayve co-founder Amar Shah.

Founded in 2020, ReSpo.Vision employs computer vision and deep learning to extract 3D tracking data from single-camera video feeds.

The technology reportedly tracks over 50 body points per player in 3D space with centimeter-level accuracy.

The new funding will facilitate the company’s expansion into additional competitions and support further development of its technology.
