What I understand that Labubu is a character created by a Malaysian artist, specifically an illustrator and graphic designer named J. C. L. (Jia Cheng Lim). Labubu has gained popularity in various forms of merchandise and online presence, While it may have some recognition in Hong Kong and elsewhere, its origin is in Malaysia.
