Karlie Kloss lives by her husband’s words of wisdom.

The supermodel, who’s currently expecting her third baby with Joshua Kushner, revealed the supportive advice he’s given her as they navigate through parenthood.

“We’ve been together since I was 19,” the 32-year-old explained during the May 20 episode of Emma Grede’s Aspire podcast. “We’ve grown up together. He’s always been my biggest champion, especially in this adjustment into motherhood. He’s been somebody who’s like, ‘Karlie, you cannot lose yourself. You will not be happy and then our children will feel that.’”

Joshua’s unwavering support is on brand, as Karlie—also mom to Levi, 4, and Elijah, 21 months, with the 46-year-old—shared that he’s been her rock since they started dating in 2012, the same year she moved to New York for her modeling career. 

“I had never met anyone like him before,” the Kode with Klossy founder continued. “He was such a kind man. I would have never imagined that I would meet the love of my life at 19. Because we met so young, we’ve been through so much together and really grown together. I think that’s also part of why our partnership is so solid.”

And Joshua isn’t her only cheerleader, as Karlie revealed her two children have inspired her to approach her life in a new way. In fact, the former Project Runway host revealed that she didn’t “prioritize my personal life or my friends” until she had Levi in 2020.

“In a lot of ways, having kids has sort of been a forcing function of prioritization,” she explained. “I’ve always been somebody that’s done a lot. It’s in my blood to be busy and be a productive person. But now going on to my third child, a lot of things have fallen into place—like what matters most to me, and what I’m willing to compromise for and what I’m not.” 

And now that Karlie is more focused on her and her family’s needs, she’s making sure to be present for her upcoming baby.

“It’s only just starting to hit me,” she said of her third pregnancy. “I’m halfway through. I’m so tired, but I’m so excited.”

The power couple took in a New York Knicks game in 2016 and they couldn't help but show a little PDA while sitting court-side.

In 2016, the supermodel shared this kissing snap in honor of the couple's fourth anniversary of meeting. Clearly, four years in was only the beginning for these two.

On the co-founder of Oscar Health's birthday in 2017, Kloss shared this party pic and the sweetest note to her love. "My atoms love your atoms, It's chemistry. - @atticuspoetry," she wrote. "Happy birthday to my best friend and partner in crime. The past 5 years of our adventures together have been some of the best memories of my life. I love you."

The couple that watches the total solar eclipse stays together...right?

These two lovebirds are always up for an adventure like their trip to the Wadi Rum Desert in April, or their time in Iceland, or Montauk, or Myanmar. Seriously, we could go on forever.

In July 2018, Karlie announced their engagement by sharing this sweet photo. "I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you're my best friend and my soulmate. I can't wait for forever together. Yes a million times over," she captionedthe shot.

Three months after Joshua's proposal, the couple tied the knot in an intimate Jewish ceremony held in upstate New York on Oct. 18, 2018. 

Karlie and Joshua jetted off to South Africa for their honeymoon in late 2018. 

Mazel tov...again! Eight months after they became husband and wife, the couple's star-studded inner circle gathered for a wedding celebration in June 2019. 

Karlie shared this black and white snapshot next to her man in December 2019.

News broke in October that the 28-year-old is pregnant with the couple's first child together.
