BARCELONA, April 25 — Xavi Hernandez said Thursday he has decided to stay on as Barcelona coach for a “cocktail of reasons”, including support from key figures at the club and supporters.

In January, with Barcelona on a miserable run of form, Xavi said he would walk away from his post in the summer despite having a year left on his contract.
