As the drama over Princess Kate’s digitally altered portrait continues to brew across the pond, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan say they are staying out of it.

The Princess of Wales is under fire for editing a family photo that Kensington Palace released on Sunday for Britain’s Mother’s Day. The photo arrived amid growing concerns over Kate’s whereabouts, as she has not having been seen publicly since the palace announced in mid-January she’d been hospitalized for a “planned abdominal surgery.” Rather than quell the conspiracy theories, the Mother’s Day portrait exacerbated them when royal watchers noticed glaring Photoshop errors in it and multiple news agencies killed distribution of the photo for image manipulation.
