KUALA LUMPUR: Proceedings became heated during Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman's criminal breach of trust trial today when a deputy public prosecutor accused a defence witness of making contradictory statements.

During cross-examination, deputy public prosecutor Datuk Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin questioned former Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda Bersatu (Armada) information chief Ulya Aqamah Husamudin about his knowledge of RM1 million withdrawn from the organisation's bank account.
