Protests break out in Pakistan, Iraq over Khamenei's death; 9 die in Karachi

KARACHI, Pakistan, March 1 - Pakistani police on Sunday clashed with protesters who breached the outer wall of the U.S. consulate in Karachi, leaving nine people dead, following news of U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Pro-Iranian protesters also gathered outside the Green Zone in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, where the U.S. Embassy is located.
