One pundit has made a crazy claim that he can see Cristiano Ronaldo becoming the Manchester United manager in the next 18 months.After returning to the club last month after 12 years away, Tim Sherwood thinks Ronaldo could have his eyes on the top job.The Portugal ace has made a huge impact playing, with four goals in three games for the Red Devils. And Sherwood has already seen enough from Ronaldoand believes he will undoubtedly step up and become a coach.The 36-year-old has previously been seen directing proceedings from the sidelines for the national team.The attacker did offer a leader’s statementafter United’s weekend’s win, suggesting that title glory was the aim. And Sherwood saw similar during the win at West Ham and thinks Ronaldo could step into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s shoes imminently.I think its OK that Ronaldos on the touchline and Oles going to have to accept it. He knows how hes needed and if he feels like he needs to stand next to the manager and give instructions then youve got to let him do that.Im not sure hed be doing that with Jose Mourinho mind you. It would be very different with him still in charge, but youd also have to ask Ronaldo why he feels its necessary to stand up and give some instruction in the first place.Weve seen him do it on the international stage, most recently at the Euros, barking out orders. That boy will be a manager 100%. I would have a bet on him being Manchester United manager in 18 months. But if they dont win anything I think theyve got a manager there in the making. He could bring an experienced coach in there with him someone like Carlos Queiroz as hell know plenty of them.
