RM3.5mil fire and rescue department museum to be built in Melaka

A museum to display artefacts, equipment and old machinery used by the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) will be built at Jalan Kubu in Melaka, involving an allocation of RM3.5 million.
Melaka JBPM director, Abu Bakar Katain, said that the museum would be built at the Melaka Tengah Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) compound, and is expected to be fully completed within two years.
