PUTRAJAYA, Dec 9 ― The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM) should strengthen its role as the driver of national statistics service to help the government make accurate and speedy decisions for target groups, said Economic Affairs Minister Mohd Rafizi Ramli.

Mohd Rafizi said he felt that DoSM was playing an important role in helping the government to provide better opportunities to the people based on data the department gathered from various sources.
