You’ve probably seen countless viral videos of Taiwan’s famous Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival, and chances are, it’s somewhere on your travel bucket list. But what if we told you that you will soon be able to enjoy a similarly ethereal experience in Singapore?

That’s right – the inaugural Singapore Sky Lantern Festival is happening this February 21, at Sentosa’s Palawan Green. Attendees will be able to write their wishes on paper lanterns, light them up, and witness them rise into the night sky to form an enchanting tapestry of glowing orbs. Sounds like the perfect opportunity for lovebirds to recreate that magical scene from Tangled.
