Reservoir Link bags RM60mil waste plant job

PETALING JAYA: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd

has secured a turnkey contract worth RM60.2mil to build an industrial waste recovery facility.

The facility will be able to process up to 15,000 tonnes of waste raw materials to extract Safefuels, an alternative fuel designed to generate renewable energy comparable to conventional fuels used in cement and power plants.

Safefuels is developed by Sage Promaster Sdn Bhd, the same company that awarded the contract to build the waste recovery facility to Reservoir Link’s subsidiary, RL Sigma Engineering Sdn Bhd.

Sage Promaster is majority-owned by Fortress Capital Asset Management.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Reservoir Link said it will undertake the facility’s civil and structural works, mechanical and electrical systems as well as automation capabilities.

The contract, which commenced on Aug 27, 2025, shall be completed within six months by Feb 26, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.”
