Residents of an estate branded the "roughest in the UK" in a viral YouTube video have hit out at the scathing criticism.

After Blakenall Heath in Walsall, West Midlands, was one of several areas in the market town likened the area to "war-torn Ukraine", residents jumped to its defence. Tom Clewes, a tradesman in Blakenall Heath, said there is huge potential for the area to become an estate sought-after by families.
