PETALING JAYA: Speculation is mounting that the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) executive committee could resign en masse following a 'special' meeting scheduled at a premier hotel on Thursday (Jan 8).

It is learnt that several executive committee members are considering stepping down amid a series of controversies that have engulfed the national football body, including the suspension of seven mixed-heritage players and growing concerns over possible FIFA intervention should further governance shortcomings emerge.
