Rider jailed two weeks for stealing prawns and squid from market

KUALA LUMPUR: A p-hailing rider was today sentenced to two weeks in jail by the magistrate's court for stealing raw prawns and squid worth RM350 from a wet market.

Magistrate Wong Chai Sia meted out the sentence on Khamirul Azmi Basli,35, after he pleaded guilty to stealing the food items from a Datuk Keramat market trader at 10.30pm on Jan 9.
