Ringgit extends gains, closes higher vs US$
KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit extended its gains on Friday, closing higher against the US dollar as uncertainty surrounding the conflict in West Asia weighed on the greenback.
At 6 pm, the local note rose to 4.0555/0600 versus the greenback from Thursday’s close of 4.0650/0690.
