Ripple resolves SEC lawsuit, ending four-year dispute
Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have agreed to end their four-year legal dispute, as announced by Ripple’s chief legal officer Stuart Alderoty on Mar. 25.
Under the agreement, Ripple will withdraw its cross-appeal. The SEC will keep US$50 million of the previously imposed US$125 million fine.
