River City star Andy Gray has died at the age of 61 following a battle with a rare cancer, which promopted him to exit the soap in 2018.

Best known for his role as Pete Galloway in the Scottish drama, he was diagnosed with a rare type of blood cancer, MDS or Myelodysplastic syndromes.
