River Valley High School death: How the incident unfolded

SINGAPORE - Students of River Valley High School (RVHS) were rushed into classrooms for their own protection on Monday (July 19) after a 13-year-old Secondary 1 student was allegedly killedby a 16-year-old from the same school.
Several messages went out on social media as staff and students tried to make sense of what was happening. Some students also called their parents, sobbing on the other end of the phone.

sometime we would wonder how can no one realise an axe being brought in to school. what is the real reason for bringing in.,? for self protection or ???

Jus hope in future, school shd be more careful on checking what the student bring to school. otherwise another such incident might happen again. Hope the victim rest in peace.

Don’t y I really feel sympathetic towards the 16yrs old boy though he has killed someone. He must b in a state of great shock now. Y no teacher in sch notice his change in behaviour m also him carrying an axe to the washroom. To the younger boy maybe he rest in peace

actually shouldn't the school have do something when he tried to commit suicide two years ago
