Roberto De Zerbi is the perfect candidate to succeed Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager, believes former Reds star Danny Murphy.

Klopp is not leaving Anfield any time soon, with his contract running until 2026, but it would be something of a surprise if the German stayed beyond that point.

Murphy is already eyeing up who might replace the Premier League and Champions League winner, with the Brighton boss attracting his attention.
