PETALING JAYA: World No. 16 men’s doubles shuttler Yap Roy King will head into the Malaysian Masters, which begins next Tuesday, in leaner shape after shedding five kilograms.

The 25-year-old revealed he has reduced his weight from 78kg as part of his own effort to improve his movement on court.

Roy King said he decided to slim down after feeling that his previous weight was affecting his speed and mobility during matches.
