(Reuters) - Canterbury Crusaders management has ruled out sacking under-fire coach Rob Penney mid-season as the fallen champions languish at the bottom of the Super Rugby Pacific standings.

Penney has had a tough first season in charge, with a spate of injuries weakening the South Island side further after the departures of key players last year.
