Rugby-First New Zealand professional rugby player diagnosed with CTE - report

(Reuters) - Former Auckland Blues halfback Billy Guyton has become New Zealand's first professional rugby player to be diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), Radio New Zealand reported on Thursday.
Guyton, who also played for the Wellington Hurricanes and Canterbury Crusaders in Super Rugby, died suddenly last year at the age of 33.
