KUALA LUMPUR: Runaway British teenager David Renz Balisong had been moving between several locations in the federal capital while he was reported missing.
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said it was also found that the 17-year-old had survived on the cash he brought from home.
"Initial investigations revealed that the teenager had arrived in Malaysia alone and had been staying at several locations around the capital.
"During his stay, he also had no local acquaintances," he said in a statement.
