It seems a Singaporean woman is paying for attempting the viral Chongqing motorbike trend.

The trend, first started by vloggers in China, sees a person standing in the middle of a street as a man wearing a motorcycle helmet 'bumps' into her before wrapping her in his arms. The scene than transitions into them riding off dramatically through Chongqing’s neon-lit streets.

Most clips are accompanied with Chinese singer Silence Wang’s ‘Love Love’ playing in the background.

Don’t worry, there was no bike crash… Instead, she got hurt due to a…hug?

According to the woman, the “young actor” she was filming with hugged her so tightly during the transition, he injured her seventh, eighth, and ninth anterior ribs.

She later revealed that her left eighth rib had a slight fracture.

Ouch!

The doctor asked how she got injured and ended up laughing when she told him about the trend she attempted.

She also revealed that the CT scan cost her 901 yuan (S$160.95) and warned everyone to be careful should they attempt the trend like her.

“There is no insurance. So this is a lesson for me,” she said.

While netizens mostly wished her a speedy recovery, others were more interested in the biker who injured her ribs.

“He is so handsome. Worth it!” one cheeky comment read.
