The District Education Office of Sabah (PPD) are investigating a report of a teacher who allegedly stapled the ears of a 10-year-old pupil at a school in Likas, Sabah

According to Free Malaysia Today, Sabah director of education Misterine Radin confirmed that the department had received a report "regarding a teacher who had kind of injured a student's ears with the excuse of educating using a stapler".
