Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are starting a new chapter apart.

More than one year after announcing their breakup, the Borat star and the Now You See Me actress shared in a joint statement that their divorce "has now been finalised" after over 20 years together.

"We are proud of all we've achieved together," Sacha and Isla—who share three kids together—wrote on their respective Instagram Stories June 13, "and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children."

They continued, "We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy."

While the pair filed for divorce in 2023, they did not publicly disclosed their separation until April 2024. As they put it in a joint statement at the time, "We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change."

The former couple added, "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children."

So, how have been adjusting to their new normal?

"Therapeutic fasting, integrative medicine, inspiring treatments for the spirit and soul," Isla, 49, wrote on Instagram in January, sharing that she was "ending 2024 with gratitude" at a spa. "Every kind of therapy cocooned in warmth and care—the kindest hands. Everything you repress just comes out, all at once."

In February, the Wedding Crashers alum said ending her 13-year marriage to Sacha, 53, was "the most difficult thing" she had ever been through.

"I’ve learned so much about myself in the process,” she told The Sunday Times. “I never imagined my family being separated, but we are committed and loving parents.”

And Sacha proved they were still on friendly terms by commenting under his ex's Valentine's Day post, which showed Isla in an off-the-shoulder minidress as she laid in bed.

"Stunning photoshoot," the comedian wrote, prompting Isla to reply alongside a smiley face, "@sachabaroncohen thank you."

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher first met in the early aughts at a party in Sydney, Australia.

“She was hilarious,” the Borat star told The New York Times in October 2020. “We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don’t know if she did.”

The duo got engaged in 2004.

In March 2010, the Wedding Crashers actress and the comedian tied the knot in Paris.

Isla and Sacha share three children together.

"20 YEARS," Isla wrote alongside a series of Instagram photos in December 2021, before quoting Winnie the Pooh. "If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever."

"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years," they wrote in a joint statement shared to their Instagram Stories April 2024, "we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage."

"Our divorce has now been finalised. We are proud of all we've achieved together," the former couple wrote on their respective Instagram Stories in June 2025, "and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children."
