Safe entry for bus/mrt interchange, prepare to scan qr codes

According to a media release, Land Transport Authority(LTA) said that bus operators will gradually post SafeEntry QR codes in conspicuous places in MRT stations and bus interchanges.
The authorities encourage all passengers to scan the QR code when entering the station and emphasize that the information collected by the system will be used only when it is necessary to track close contacts of confirmed cases.

Some elderly used simple phone for calling and sms so how to expect them to scan the safe entry. In addition, it will be a hassle to tap the ezlink card and also to scan the safe entry for entry and exit of bus/train.
