PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) have assured that all efforts have been made to prevent the roof in the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil from leaking again during the Malaysian Masters from May 20-25.

Matches had to be halted during the Malaysian Open first round in January after the roof above the courts in the stadium started leaking following a heavy downpour.

The Malaysian Stadium Board (MSC) had apologised over the incident and said the leaks were due to construction works to replace the old roof.
