IPOH: The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) is on high alert following two fatal tiger attacks in Perak and Kelantan, believed to involve the same animal.

Perak Perhilitan director, Yusoff Shariff, said this suspicion is based on the proximity of the incidents, which occurred only four kilometres apart along the East-West Highway (JRTB) between Gerik and Jeli, within a short time frame.
