If you're thinking about upgrading your TV and want sharper visuals, a more immersive experience, and easy-to-find content, Samsung's latest innovations might be just what you need

At Samsung's recently held Southeast Asia Visual Display Seminar 2025 in Bangkok, the tech giant revealed its QLED lineup and its efforts in doubling down on its "Real QLED" technology. That's short for Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode.
Basically, these TVs use tiny particles (quantum dots) that make colours look incredibly rich and lifelike — even brighter whites and deeper blacks, offering you a screen that looks vibrant from pretty much any angle in your living room.
The best part? Samsung's QLED TVs are cadmium-free. Cadmium is a heavy metal used in some cheaper TVs, but it's toxic and not great for your health or the environment. Samsung ditched it years ago and has over 150 patents in clean quantum dot tech.
In short, these TVs by Samsung are safer for your home, and kinder to our planet.
If your living room has bright overhead lighting or lots of natural sunlight, a QLED TV also gives you clearer visuals without having to shut the curtains like you're about to start a horror film.
In Bangkok, Samsung also showcased its new Odyssey 3D (G90XF model) 27" gaming monitor. No, you don't need to wear 3D glasses or any eyewear to experience the 3D effects.

Using a tiny camera that watches where your eyes are, the monitor knows exactly where you're looking and shows each eye a slightly different image. That's how your brain creates the 3D-style depth.
It's also smart enough to work with your glasses if you already wear them. I tested the monitor out while playing The First Berserker: Khazan, a hardcore action role-playing game by South Korean game developer, Neople. The 3D feature made the game all the more immersive than it already was.
The monitor also features something called a "lenticular lens", which is a fancy way to make sure each eye sees the right version of the image.
Samsung has a custom operating system called Tizen, and for 2025, it's been redesigned to feel more like using a Samsung phone — easy menus, clean interface, and way less time clicking around to find what you want

It's now powered by One UI — the same look-and-feel on Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets. If you've ever swiped through a Galaxy device, you'll feel right at home.
The Tizen OS also comes with several key upgrades, including an AI that understands your habits. Watch K-dramas every night at 9PM? Your TV learns that and cues it up without fuss.
The OS also comes with seven years of free software updates. That's rare in tech. It means your TV won't feel outdated after two Raya seasons.
There are also voice-boosting sound features. No more straining to hear dialogue over car chases. AI will automatically adjust volume and clarity depending on the scene and your room's acoustics.
Samsung TV Plus, the brand's free streaming platform, is also getting a boost

No subscriptions needed. Just switch on the TV and start watching. Over 65,000 titles are already available, with more K-content coming soon.
Plus, the Art Store — previously limited to Samsung's fancy "Frame" TVs — is now available on more models. Turn your TV into a digital art display with curated galleries, famous masterpieces, or just some peaceful nature scenes when you're not binge-watching reality TV.
If you're still watching telly on a dusty panel from 2015, the difference with Samsung's new lineup is night and day

Not just in visual quality, but in how smart (and user-friendly) the whole experience has become.
Whether you're a casual viewer, a hardcore gamer, or someone who just wants a screen that looks good in your living room, there's a solid reason to be excited.
And with more eco-conscious materials, built-in security (hello, Samsung Knox), and years of support baked in — it's a pretty safe bet you won't regret it.
