Samsung plans $90b in Chungcheong by 2040
Samsung Group said on July 2 that it plans to invest 140 trillion won (about US$90 billion) in South Korea’s Chungcheong region by 2040.
The investment will focus on display panels, batteries, chips, and chip materials.
Samsung announced the details at an event hosted by President Lee Jae Myung.
