Sarawak Energy: Batang Ai HEP Stage 2, 3 upgrades from now to Aug 8 and Aug 24-25
KUCHING (July 27): The planned shutdown at the Batang Ai Hydroelectric Plant (HEP) for its Stage 2 and 3 upgrades will now take place from July 27-Aug 8 and Aug 24-25.
Sarawak Energy Berhad in a press release explained these upgrades are to enhance the reliability of the plant and contribute to grid stability.
