KUCHING: Sarawak is setting its sights on becoming the second-largest contributor to Malaysia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) before the next state election,said Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg.

Currently, Kuala Lumpur leads as the primary GDP contributor, followed by Selangor, with Sarawak now in third place, having recently surpassed Johor.
