KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has confirmed that the state has been selected to host the 2024 Malaysian Games (Sukma 2024).

Abang Johari, when announcing the matter at the closing ceremony of the 14th Sukan Antara Yayasan Negeri Se-Malaysia (Pesaya) 2023 sports meet here last night, said that it was decided by Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh in a meeting regarding the organisation of Sukma 2024 recently.
